Location: Milton Keynes | On-site
2–3 Vacancies Available
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing business-services organisation to appoint two to three ambitious New Business Development Executives.
This is an excellent opportunity for resilient, commercially driven individuals who want to build a long-term career in sales. You’ll begin in a telesales-focused position, developing your prospecting, relationship-building and appointment-setting skills before progressing into a field-based role where you’ll run appointments and close your own deals.
With an uncapped commission structure and a clear development route from telesales into field sales, this role rewards consistency, determination and a willingness to learn.
As New Business Development Executive, you’ll play a central role in generating new business by contacting prospective customers across the UK.
You’ll identify organisations that may be overpaying for their existing services, approaching the end of a long-term contract or ready to review their current arrangements. Through phone-based prospecting and face-to-face canvassing, you’ll build rapport with decision-makers and secure qualified appointments for the wider sales team.
The organisation takes a traditional, phone-first approach to business development, so this role is ideally suited to someone who is confident picking up the phone—or genuinely committed to becoming highly effective at it.
As your confidence and results develop, you’ll progress into a trainee field-sales position, running appointments and closing deals yourself.
You’ll help support the continued growth of the business by:
You’ll work towards clear and achievable activity targets, including:
Success in this role will require consistency, resilience and a willingness to develop over time.
You’ll be a motivated and resilient individual who is comfortable speaking with prospective customers and determined to build a successful career in sales.
Previous telesales or business development experience would be helpful, but attitude, confidence and work ethic are equally important.
You will also have:
You’ll begin by developing a detailed understanding of the organisation’s services, target market and sales approach while building confidence on the phone.
As your appointment-setting results improve, you’ll progress into a trainee field-sales position and begin running your own customer meetings. Once field-based, your working pattern will typically involve mornings attending appointments or canvassing, followed by afternoons in the Milton Keynes office.
The organisation views this as an approximately two-year development journey into a fully fledged field‑sales career. Those willing to learn, remain consistent and invest time in their development will have a clear route into a well‑rewarded and increasingly autonomous position.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a long‑term sales career within a supportive and growing organisation.
In return, you’ll benefit from:
