Job summary

UK Forks, a division of Vp plc, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair our hire machinery across the West Midlands. You will service telehandlers on customer sites, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-site resolutions to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates will be mechanically qualified, with a clean driving licence and willingness to travel. We offer extensive training, a competitive salary, pension, generous holiday and a commitment to employee development.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing plant equipment including Telehandlers is essential.
• A recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out essential maintenance and servicing to hire machinery on-site with customers
• Offer breakdown resolutions and an effective repair service
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical/mechanical issues during site visits
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify service improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, services and customer interactions
