Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the WS and WV area in the United Kingdom.

The role involves maintenance, service and repair of material handling equipment at customer sites, with a company van and personal usage allowed, plus ongoing training and career development. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3, experience as a Vehicle/HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery, strong knowledge of engines, electrics and hydraulics, and be IT-literate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery experience considered.
• Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.
• IT literate and comfortable with using the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair material handling equipment on customer sites within your postcode area.
• Manage your own work in progress and complete paperwork accurately.
• Attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and safety procedures.
• Diagnose, rectify faults and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
