Marble Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Engineer to join our team, covering the West Midlands region. You will service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault‑finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently. Overtime and a company van with fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing forklift trucks or similar mobile plant.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of diesel, LPG, or electric-powered equipment.
• Able to work independently and manage workload with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel/LPG faults.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Complete breakdown repairs with first-time fixes when possible.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues early.
• Complete service reports and maintain maintenance records.
• Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Forklift Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering the West Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working independently, diagnosing faults, and providing first‑class service to customers. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel/LPG faults
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Complete breakdown repairs efficiently, aiming for first‑time fixes
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major faults
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

About You

• Experience servicing and repairing forklift trucks or similar mobile plant equipment
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault‑finding skills
• Knowledge of diesel, LPG, or electric‑powered equipment
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving
