Job summary

3D Personnel are seeking a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a construction project based in Cambois, Blyth, Newcastle. The role involves operating a telehandler to move and unload materials, and supporting trades on a residential/commercial site.

The ideal candidate holds a CPCS/NPORS Telehandler Card, is hardworking, and carries full PPE, with experience on building projects. On-site duties require adherence to safety and site management directions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card.
• Experience on Residential/Commercial construction projects.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots) and valid ID/Passport.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and move building materials around the site.
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries on site and near the site compound.
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifts and moving materials.
• Perform duties on site as directed by the site management team.
• Operate the machine with site risk assessments and regular checks/inspections.

Day-to-day duties

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors on with lifts and the moving od their materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed Banks-person and the allocated Traffic Marshal on site
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card
• Must be hard working and driven
• Must have valid ID/PassportMust have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots)
• Must have experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
