Job summary

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a construction project in Romsey. The role involves operating the Telescopic Forklift to move materials around the site and assist with unloads, while following site safety procedures and directions from management.

Candidates must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card, be hard working, and have ID and PPE ready. Experience on residential or commercial projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card is required.
• Ability to operate a telescopic forklift safely on a construction site.
• Experience working on residential/commercial construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move building materials around the site.
• Unload deliveries on-site and at the site compound.
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifting materials.
• Carry out on-site duties as directed by site management.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the forklift for reliability and appearance.
• Coordinate with Banks-person and Traffic Marshal on site.
• Adhere to site health and safety standards.

Job description

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a construction project in Romsey.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors on with lifts and the moving od their materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed Banks-person and the allocated Traffic Marshal on site
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card
• Must be hard working and driven
• Must have valid ID/Passport
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots)
• Must have experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
