Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a long-term temporary role in Slough. The driver will operate a telescopic forklift to move building materials on a residential/commercial construction site, unload deliveries, and assist trades on site.

Responsibilities include operating the machine safely, adhering to site risk assessments, and coordinating with trades and site personnel. A valid CPCS/NPORS card, full PPE, and ID are required.

Qualifications

• Hard working and driven.
• Experience on Residential/Commercial construction projects.
• Valid ID/Passport.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots).
• CPCS or NPORS Card.

Responsibilities

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner.
• Move building materials around the site.
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound.
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifts and moving of materials.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine.
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, banksperson and the traffic Marshall on site.
• Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors on with lifts and the moving of their materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed banksperson and the allocated traffic Marshall on site
• Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards

Requirements and experience levels

• Must be hard working and driven
• Experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
• Valid ID/Passport
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
• CPCS or NPORS Card
