Job summary

3D Personnel are seeking a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a construction project in Cambois, Blyth, near Newcastle.

You will operate the forklift safely, move building materials around site, unload deliveries, and support trades and subcontractors with lifts and material movements, in line with site risk assessments.

Weekly payroll, dedicated support, and the option of PAYE Umbrella or CIS payments are available through 3D Personnel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card.
• Hard working and driven with construction site experience.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots).
• Experience on residential/commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner.
• Move building materials around the site.
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound.
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifts and moving their materials.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance.
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed Banks-person and the allocated Traffic Marshal on site.
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards.
