Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a Telescopic Forklift Driver in Hackney on a long-term temporary basis. You will operate a telescopic forklift safely, move materials around the site, unload deliveries, and assist trades on site.

The ideal candidate will have a CPCS or NPORS card, valid ID, full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, boots), and proven experience on residential or commercial construction projects. Weekly payroll and competitive rates apply.

Qualifications

• Experience on residential/commercial construction projects.
• Valid ID/Passport required.
• Full PPE: hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots.
• CPCS or NPORS card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely on site and move building materials.
• Unload deliveries on site and adjacent to the site compound.
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifts and material movement.
• Perform duties on site as directed by site management.
• Inspect the forklift and operate in line with risk assessments.
• Coordinate with trades, banksperson and traffic marshal.
• Work in accordance with health and safety standards.

Overview

Telescopic Forklift Driver – Hackney – Long term temporary role – £19 p/h

Responsibilities

• Operating the forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Unloading deliveries on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors with lifts and moving materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments; regularly inspect the allocated machine to ensure reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed banksperson and the allocated traffic marshal on site
• Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards

Requirements

• Must be hard working and driven
• Experience working on a residential/commercial construction project
• Valid ID/Passport
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
• CPCS or NPORS Card
