Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a long-term temporary role in Tunbridge Wells. The position is on-site and pays £19 per hour. You will operate a telescopic forklift, move building materials around the site, unload deliveries, and support trades and subcontractors on lifts and material movement.

The role requires a valid CPCS/NPORS card, full PPE, and a hardworking, disciplined approach to work on a residential/commercial construction site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a telescopic forklift on construction sites.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS card or equivalent.
• Valid ID/Passport and full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots).
• Willingness to work outdoors on a residential/commercial site.

Responsibilities

• Operates the forklift safely to move materials around the site.
• Unloads deliveries on site and beside the site compound.
• Supports trades and subcontractors with lifts and material movement.
• Complies with site risk assessments and checks the machine regularly.
• Communicates with trades, banksperson and traffic marshal on site.
• Adheres to industry health and safety standards.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors on with lifts and the moving of their materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed banksperson and the allocated traffic Marshall on site
• Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards

Requirements and experience levels

• Must be hard working and driven
• Experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
• Valid ID/Passport
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
• CPCS or NPORS Card
