Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services Limited is seeking a Technology Manager to coordinate technology projects and business systems across the venue campus. You will work with teams across People, Finance, Operations, Hospitality and Commercial to improve operational efficiency and support growth.

You will manage relationships with software suppliers, ensure systems are reliable, and collaborate with the EPOS Manager on hospitality technology initiatives for Co-op Live.

Qualifications

• Previous experience coordinating technology or business system projects.
• Experience working with software suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of business systems and technology used within operational environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology projects from planning to implementation and handover.
• Support system upgrades, software implementations and business change initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate these into practical technology solutions.
• Assist with testing, user acceptance, training and system rollouts.
• Monitor project progress, risks and key milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of business systems across EVSL.
• Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades and configuration changes with external suppliers.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides and process maps where required.
• Build effective working relationships with internal departments and external technology suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and elevate issues where necessary.
• Lead annual contract and service reviews with CFG as EVSL’s primary technology service Provider.
