A leading water utility company in England is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to manage maintenance of electrical equipment at their sites. The role involves ensuring safety, conducting repairs, and providing technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering and can earn up to £42,000 per annum with excellent benefits including a generous pension scheme and annual leave.
We seek an experienced Electrical Technician based at our water production sites in East Thames Valley.
As a successful candidate, you will be using your electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location: Speen WTW, Newbury RG14 1RT.
Working pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday 07:30 am - 3:30 pm, plus inclusion on a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.
All PPE, Tools, plus the provision of a Van when on duty and call.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in electrical engineering.
