Job summary

Autoskills-Uk is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a long-established, employee-owned dealership in Shrewsbury. Youll perform servicing, maintenance and diagnostics to high standards within a professional workshop, with clear pathways for advancement.

We offer manufacturer training, EV accreditation, a strong wellbeing programme and long-term career progression, plus a stable environment and industry-leading benefits. Youll work Monday–Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician.
  • Previous dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks.
  • Preparing vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintaining workshop documentation and job records.
  • Working closely with the wider workshop team to deliver excellent customer service.

Salary: Up to £34,000 Depending on Experience & OTE (Uncapped)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours | Saturday Mornings on a Rota

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards while working as part of a professional dealership workshop.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks

About You

We're looking for someone with:
