Job summary

Autoskills-Uk in Reading seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair prestigious vehicles to exacting manufacturer standards. You will deliver first-time fixes, work with state-of-the-art diagnostics and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work.
Performing road tests where required.
Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records.
Working closely with the Service Team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Keeping up to date with the latest vehicle technology and manufacturer training.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards.

Salary: Up to £42,000 Basic Doe + Monthly Bonus (Uncapped)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am - 1:00pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing prestige vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards while delivering outstanding quality and first-time fixes.
