Auto Skills UK in Bath is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, repair and MOT vehicles to manufacturer standards with access to the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years' workshop experience in vehicle servicing or repair.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence; MOT tester licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Complete MOT testing where qualified.
• Accurately complete workshop documentation and job cards.
• Road test vehicles when required.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
• Carrying out MOT testing where qualified
• Completing repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Road testing vehicles where required
• Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
• Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maintain high levels of productivity and quality

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years' workshop experience
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Mechanic
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
• MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
• Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
