Job summary

Think FE Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Technical Tutor for a Berkshire FE college. You will coach and assess electrical apprentices, run initial assessments, and plan progression with progress reviews every 10–12 weeks.

This role supports apprentices toward End Point Assessment, including collaboration with employers and assessment bodies. You will hold an electrical degree or equivalent, 18th Edition/AM2, an assessor award, and a teaching qualification or plan to pursue one, plus Level 2

Qualifications

• Electrical degree or vocational qualification, including 18th Edition and AM2/AM2S.
• Assessor award such as A1 or equivalent.
• Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards one.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience with apprentices, employers and awarding or assessment organisations.
• Confidence supporting learners with different abilities and backgrounds.
• Good organisational skills and confidence using e-portfolios, Microsoft Office and online learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Coach and assess electrical apprentices, providing clear feedback on their progress.

• Monitor off-the-job training and maintain accurate learner records.

Salary: £41,096–£44,165 per annum

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Think FE is recruiting an Electrical Technical Tutor for a further education college in Berkshire. You’ll manage a caseload of electrical apprentices, providing practical coaching, mentoring and assessment to help them develop their skills and prepare for End Point Assessment. This role would suit an experienced electrical assessor or tutor who enjoys working closely with apprentices and employers.
