Are you an experienced Electrician looking to move off the tools and into a rewarding career where you can pass on your skills?

Do you want to work Monday to Friday, receive full training and development and build a long-term career in education while helping train the next generation of Electrical apprentices?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Further Education college with a strong focus on vocational education and apprenticeships. The college offers a supportive working environment, excellent opportunities for development and genuine long-term career progression.

In this role, you will work with a cohort of Electrical apprentices, delivering a mixture of teaching, practical training, mentoring and assessment. You will use your industry experience to help learners develop their technical knowledge and practical skills, monitor their progress and support them throughout their apprenticeship.

The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2 and strong industry experience. No previous formal teaching qualification is necessarily required for the right candidate, as full training and ongoing professional development can be provided. An assessor qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Role

The Person

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a relevant Electrical discipline + 18th Edition + AM2

• Willingness to complete further teaching and assessing qualifications
