Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Support Officer to provide essential business, technical and financial process support across a varied range of services. This role helps our teams run smoothly and efficiently by supporting finance, administration, customer enquiries, planning application tracking, road space booking and communications. You will work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining high standards of accuracy, communication and record-keeping while supporting customer-focused service delivery. Some tasks covered by the role:

  • Supporting purchase orders, payments, invoices and financial records.
  • Monitoring planning application progress and helping ensure responses are completed on time.
  • Updating GIS and other service records accurately.
  • Coordinating road space booking information for highway tree works.
  • Managing shared inboxes and helping provide timely responses to enquiries.
  • Supporting community engagement, website content, social media and communications.
