Job summary

Keoghs in Bolton seeks a Technical Support Lawyer to lead a team of delegated authority handlers, manage EL/PL and civil penalty files, and drive strategic, commercially-minded outcomes. The role includes mentoring colleagues and carrying a personal caseload on complex matters, including data protection and Human Rights issues.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong advocacy, client liaison skills and a proactive approach to embedding KYO practices across the Casualty team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor/CILEX with EL/PL caseload up to £100k is essential.
• Previous litigation experience is essential.
• Previous supervision experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop aligned handlers/assistants to deliver technical excellence.
• Drive financial authority audits and commercial file handling.
• Develop and embed KYO strategies across files and clients.
• Carry own complex caseload including EL/PL, data protection and HR issues.
• Engage in client audits, meetings, trainings and workshops as needed.
