Job summary

RedTech Recruitment is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join a growing technology company delivering highly secure software solutions to an international customer base. The role involves troubleshooting complex multi-tier deployments and supporting customers and partners to ensure an excellent experience.

Location is Leicestershire with hybrid working (min 2 days in office). remote work is not suitable for this role.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in Technical Support or similar role.
• Experience supporting bespoke application software in a commercial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting multi-tier applications in Microsoft-based environments.
• Familiarity with IIS, TCP/IP, MS SQL Server, Azure, AD/LDAP, COM/DCOM or PKI.

Responsibilities

• Log, manage and resolve technical support queries for customers and partners.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across complex deployments.
• Support enterprise software systems with limited access to environments.
• Coordinate with development teams to identify defects and fixes.
• Maintain and expand internal knowledge base documentation.
• Provide feedback to improve products and processes.
• Participate in rota covering extended support hours and on-call shifts.
• Collaborate with support, development and customer-facing teams.
