Job summary

Arden White Limited recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Stockport. You will provide first line post-sales technical support by phone and email to customers, distributors and site engineers, helping to install, configure, calibrate and maintain systems in line with standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults on gas detectors and controllers, logging cases, and guiding customers to fixes.

Qualifications

• Engineering background to understand products.
• Previous Technical Support experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide live technical support by phone and email to engineers on site, guiding installation, commissioning, fault-finding and calibration.
• Respond to customer technical queries by phone and email, logging every case in a support system.
• Diagnose faults on gas detectors & controllers and guide customers to a fix.
• Escalate unresolved or safety-critical issues with full fault data and evidence.
