Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Support Technician to join the ADT team in Manchester. The role is office-based on a day shift (M40) with weekend work, focusing on diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and ensuring remote connectivity for alarm systems.

You will support field engineers and customers, using a range of software tools while delivering high-quality service and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues over the phone.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot security alarm faults.
• Use monitoring and programming software to support installations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residential and commercial customers.
