Job Description:

Our team welcomes you to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship starting in 2026. The new team operates across three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's F1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year.

Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis and race operations. We are looking for individuals with an athlete's mindset—those who see limits as challenges to overcome—to join us in making motorsport history.

The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany. In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will support the department management in developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance for racing, contributing to our competitiveness.

This role is available from January 1, 2026. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the ERS department head as an interface between development teams and workshop
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects
  • Assisting in budget planning for ERS projects
  • Planning cross-departmental testing and deployment of ERS components
  • Coordinating assembly planning with component managers and workshop
  • Optimizing development processes and methods
  • Analyzing technical data and preparing progress reports
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

Your profile should include:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field
  • Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development, especially in project management or coordination
  • Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
  • Strong organizational skills and team spirit
  • Analytical thinking and structured working approach
  • A passion for motorsport and innovative technology, with high commitment
  • Proficiency in German or English, with a willingness to learn the other language

We are an equal opportunity employer, celebrating diversity and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applications from people with disabilities and look forward to your application to join us in our pursuit of excellence in Formula 1.
