Job Description:

Our Team: Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis and race operations.

We seek individuals with an athlete's mindset—resilient, determined, and ready to overcome limits—to join us and make motorsport history. The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.

In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work as part of the department management team on developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance and competitiveness in a highly demanding environment.

This role starts from January 1, 2026. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the ERS department head as an interface between development teams and workshops
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects
• Assisting in budget planning for ERS projects
• Coordinating test and deployment plans for ERS components across departments
• Planning assembly of components with responsible teams and workshops
• Optimizing development processes and methods
• Analyzing technical data and preparing progress reports
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
• Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development, especially in project management or coordination
• Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
• Strong organizational skills and team spirit
• Analytical thinking and structured working approach
• Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies, with high commitment
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
