Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Technical Services Manager for a large static site in Salford. You will oversee delivery of hard services, manage a multi-discipline team, and ensure compliance with contractual KPIs.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £55,000 and clear career progression. Working hours Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with responsibility for day-to-day and weekend maintenance programs, procurement, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
• Strong understanding of building management systems.
• Strong technical engineering understanding.
• Previous experience of managing contractors.
• Experience of service delivery.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.

Responsibilities

• Management of multi discipline workforce.
• Understand the day-to-day management of a PPM system and its process and output.
• Control and manage both planned and reactive works across the site.
• Control and manage the weekend works program across the site.
• Manage and control both in house and subcontractor maintenance operations across the site for which you are responsible.
• Management of identified Extra works / project work and the procurement process for these works.
• Management of budgets for your respective buildings.
• Report monthly service management statistics and ensure contract KPIs align with contract terms and conditions.
• Deputising for Account Manager in their absence if required.
• Ensure all technical elements of the contract meet the client’s requirements.
• Responsible for the overall compliance for the buildings for which you are responsible.
• Management of specialist service providers for your respective sites or buildings
