Job summary

Encirc Limited is offering an IT Apprentice role to provide onsite and remote support across Office 365, Networking, Windows Desktop, Windows Server and Backups. You will manage and prioritise tickets, liaise with users, and assist with ongoing IT projects, while working towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.

The apprenticeship runs for about 1 year 5 months with a structured training provider and Monday–Friday working week.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Proactive, motivated with good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support to users across multiple areas.
• Liaise directly with users to resolve issues and log notes in the system.
• Assist with ongoing IT projects and help maintain systems.

Provide onsite and remote support and resolve IT problems across multiple technology areas, including Office 365, Networking, Windows Desktop Support, Windows Server and Backups. Customer locations include Bristol, Elton & Derrylin (NI)

What You'll Do

• Manage and prioritise tickets
• Liaise directly with the user to resolve issues
• Investigate the problem whilst keeping in contact with the user and logging notes in the system
• Assisting with ongoing projects

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake suchadditionalduties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.

Training Outcome

• Upon completion, the apprentice will have a Level 3 qualification as an Information Communications Technician
