Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a self-motivated Field-based Sales professional to join the UK&I Unistrut team in West Bromwich. You will develop specifications, manage regional distributor and contractor relationships and convert opportunities into profitable sales across major projects.

The role demands strong commercial discipline, resilience under pressure and ability to collaborate with the wider Atkore sales organisation. Travel nationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in business development or sales within OEM industries.
• Experience developing specifications and managing contractor/distributor relationships.
• Willingness to travel nationally and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop project specifications with consultants, contractors and end users.
• Identify and track opportunities using Salesforce, regional insight and market intelligence.
• Manage full project lifecycle from initial specification through distributor fulfilment.
• Build strong relationships with Tier 1–Tier 3 contractors to drive conversions.
