Our Client is a fast-growing distributor of speciality raw materials to the UK Coatings & Resins Industry. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager - Industrial Coatings (CASE). This role is home-based with a flexible location within the UK, covering the UK and Ireland.

This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Business Manager.

Job Purpose

Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit, achieving sales and margin targets. Develop long-term relationships with Key Customers and create compelling sales propositions. Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure long-term positive contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Sales: Develop Key Accounts and execute sales & marketing activities flawlessly.
• Market Development: Grow key markets such as Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, and Resins.
• Supplier Management: Communicate effectively with supplier partners through reports, sales figures, market information, and product development updates. Gather market intelligence and ensure a robust supply chain through accurate forecasting and stock management. Cultivate new supplier relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical education to BSc or equivalent industrial experience.
• Commercially astute, with experience as a technical salesperson knowledgeable about speciality raw materials and formulations for the Coatings, Inks, Adhesives & Resins sectors.
• Ability to develop product formulations and identify customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Business acumen to attract and develop new supplier partnerships.
• Team player with a growth mindset, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, and loyalty.
• Active engagement with industry organizations.

In return, our client offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), plus benefits including a company car, five weeks' holiday, pension, healthcare, and a bonus scheme.
