Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to support UK sales of standby power and power conversion solutions. You will lead technical pre-sales activities, prepare proposals, and coordinate orders in close collaboration with Sales and Operations.

The role demands an electrical background, strong communication, tender-writing ability, and a UK driving licence, with hybrid office in Berkshire and occasional travel across the UK and to Germany.

Qualifications

• A technical background in electrical systems is required (electrician or electrical engineer).
• Experience in pre-sales support, tendering and pricing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to coordinate orders.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support and solution selection for UK customers.
• Prepare quotes, tenders, cost sheets and respond to technical bids.
• Coordinate hardware orders in collaboration with sales and operations.
• Support profitable order intake and customer communication.
