WR Engineering is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support the Industrial Infrastructure & Critical Power division. The role is home-based with UK-wide travel, offering up to £75,000 base salary plus up to £10,000 OTE, car allowance/company vehicle and benefits.

You will develop new business across critical infrastructure and industrial markets, influencing specifications and guiding projects from concept to order while engaging with end users, consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering or business development.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
• Experience selling into Energy & Utilities, Defence & Naval, Marine, Rail, Renewables, Nuclear.
• Experience selling or specifying electrical products, systems or solutions.
• Good understanding of switchgear, MCCs, UPS, protection or monitoring systems.
• Experience dealing with consultants, contractors and end users.
• Strong commercial awareness and project sales experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

The Role

A great opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Industrial division of a market-leading electrical safety and power resilience business.

The role will focus on developing new business and securing major project opportunities across critical infrastructure and industrial markets. You will work with end users, OEMs, consultants, contractors and system integrators, influencing specifications and supporting projects from initial concept through to order.

Key Responsibilities

The Candidate

• HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering or business development
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution
• Experience selling into one of the following: Energy & Utilities, Defence & Naval, Marine, Rail, Renewables, Nuclear
• Experience selling or specifying electrical products, systems or solutions
