Coats Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for an established engineering business in Lye, West Midlands. The role blends technical sales with customer relationship management and business development, turning enquiries into profitable orders.

You will work with Contracts, Engineering and Production to capture requirements, prepare quotations, and provide pre-sales technical support while traveling between sites as required.

Qualificações

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient with CAD software (AutoCAD) or willingness to learn.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Sage 200 would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsabilidades

• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Interpret customer requirements and prepare technical layouts and costed solutions using CAD.
• Prepare accurate quotations and tenders within deadlines.
• Follow up quotes to secure profitable orders.
• Maintain product knowledge to offer technical advice to customers.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Engineering and Production to meet requirements.
• Travel between company sites as needed.
