Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth in the manufacturing and FMCG sectors. You will develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts and provide tailored packaging solutions.

The role covers Peterborough and surrounding areas with some UK travel, offering a generous package including bonus, company car/allowance, pension and 25 days holiday. Full product training is provided to accelerate success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical sales, area sales, business development or account management role.
• Background selling into manufacturing, FMCG or industrial customers.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to exceed sales targets.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business opportunities across manufacturing and FMCG customers.
• Managing and growing existing customer accounts through a consultative sales approach.
• Providing technical advice and recommending bespoke packaging solutions.
• Conducting customer meetings, site visits and product demonstrations.
• Producing quotations, negotiating commercial agreements and managing projects through to completion.
• Working closely with internal technical, production and customer service teams to ensure excellent delivery.
