Job summary

Pertemps Basingstoke is recruiting a Technical Sales Advisor near Basingstoke for a 1-year maternity cover. The role is 20 hours per week, including 11am–2pm, with a salary of £14,248 per annum and 25 days’ holiday pro rata, plus a company-wide bonus scheme.

You will provide sales, technical and commercial support; process enquiries/quotations; maintain the CRM; and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone manner.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Own transport due to rural location.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales, technical and commercial support.
• Receive and process sales enquiries/quotations.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Maintain and update CRM database.
• Capture and record relevant sales and technical data as required.
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service at all times.
• Build relationships with other departments, such as accounts and warehouse.
