Recruit Yorkshire is recruiting a Technical Sales Advisor for a client in Yeadon (Leeds). You will coordinate technical sales from enquiry to quote and securing sales, and you will understand customer needs to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities include answering inbound queries, giving technical advice, achieving monthly targets, maintaining relationships, and delivering quotations to close sales. This is a full-time, office-based role with onsite parking and flexible hours.

Job description

My client, based in Yeadon (Leeds) is a leading manufacturer of vehicle warning, lighting and signalling equipment that is supplied to customers worldwide. The range of products manufactured by my client includes LED lightbars as well as traditional strobe and Halogen lightbars. In addition the company also manufactures and supplies a full product range including LED beacons, strobe and rotating beacons, vehicle sirens, scene and work lights, along with vehicle interior LED lighting.

NOW RECRUITING: they would like to find a Technical Sales Advisor.

Main purpose of the role

You will coordinate all technical sales from enquiry through to quote and securing sales. The job role is to understand the customer needs, requirements and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for

• Answering inbound sales queries and dealing with day to day sales activities
• Providing technical advice to customers over the phone and in person
• Achieving monthly targets
• Maintaining and developing relationships with customers
• Providing customers with quotations and closing sales

The ideal candidate must have

• Good telephone manner with excellent communication skills

Ideally you will have

• Reasonable computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft office products
• Previous experience working with technical sales environment is beneficial but by no means essential.

Other information

• This is a full time, permanent, office based, salaried position with the potential for future progression
• Working hours: 8.30 - 5.00pm with a 1 hour lunch break - however we can offer some flexibility in these hours to suit individual circumstances.
