Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the development of complex, next-generation engineering solutions. Hybrid working with a strong emphasis on coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering on time while meeting regulatory and quality standards.

The role requires a technical background, proven project management experience in engineering, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with special purpose machinery.
• Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with quality management processes and controlled development environments.
• Competent user of project management and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across the product development lifecycle.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, risk management, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout development activities.
• Ensure product specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met.
• Support the creation, review, and management of technical documentation.
• Coordinate development testing, validation, and verification activities.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to development processes and project delivery methods.
