Job summary

Arriva UK is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner to join the Digital & Commercial Platforms team in the UK. Based from our Luton or Green Lane Office, you will own the cETM platform and related technologies, helping to improve customer and operational experiences.

You will work closely with operations, suppliers, local authorities and central teams to ensure systems, data and processes are well governed, integrated and continually improved. Closing Date: 4 September 2026.

• Experience with transport-related data, systems and applications.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as operational owner and SME for cETM systems within Arriva UK.
• Manage configuration, maintenance and readiness of ticketing technologies.
• Provide second-line support and manage incidents through to resolution.
• Monitor system performance and ensure SLAs are met.
• Maintain data governance across fares, scheduling and operational information.
• Manage data feeds and timely uploads of service and fare changes.
• Support suppliers, authorities and stakeholders with technical integrations and reporting.
• Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on system updates and developments.
• Create and maintain reports to support operational and commercial decisions.

Based from either our Luton or Green Lane Office, we are looking for a highly motivated and technically minded Technical Product Owner to join our Digital & Commercial Platforms team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing Arriva UK's Contactless Electronic Ticket Machine (cETM) platform and associated technologies that underpin our customer and operational experience.

Working closely with operational teams, suppliers, local authorities and central business functions, you will act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all aspects of cETM, ensuring systems, data and processes are effectively managed and continually improved.

What You'll Be Doing

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the operational owner and subject matter expert for cETM systems within the assigned operating company.
• Managing configuration, maintenance and operational readiness of ticketing and related technologies.
• Providing second-line support and managing incidents through to resolution.
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring service level agreements are achieved.
• Maintaining data quality and governance across fares, scheduling and operational information.
• Managing critical data feeds and ensuring timely uploads of service and fare changes.
• Supporting suppliers, local authorities and internal stakeholders with technical integrations and reporting.
• Delivering training and guidance to operational colleagues on system updates and developments.
• Creating and maintaining reports that support operational and commercial decision-making.
