Job summary

Evolve BG Ltd is seeking a Technical Pre‑Sales Consultant to translate customer needs into robust, commercially viable network solutions. You will work with account managers, engineering teams and partners to design, present and handover solutions from discovery through to proposal.

This role blends networking expertise with customer engagement and clear communication, requiring you to explain complex ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences while maintaining practical delivery focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, network engineering or architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, high-availability).
• Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, supportable technical solutions.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers’ objectives and constraints.
• Design managed network solutions covering WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, security and monitoring.
• Produce clear designs, network diagrams, scopes of work and technical proposals.
• Present and demonstrate proposed solutions to technical teams and decision‑makers.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet security, performance, availability and scalability requirements.
