Job summary

Ball Corporation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Operator to join the Kettering team. The role focuses on safe, high-quality production and requires hands-on mechanical aptitude and tool use.

The shift pattern is 6 days on (2 morning, 2 afternoon, 2 night shifts) with 8.5-hour shifts and 4 days off. You will contribute to Lean initiatives and uphold production standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical equipment and using basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety policies.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Complies with practices, policies, and procedures in the plant.
• Take ownership of the production area and create a safe and efficient work environment.
• Demonstrates an aptitude for mechanical equipment and ability to use hand tools.
• Conducts inspection of the in-process or finished products to ensure quality targets are achieved.
• Assists with equipment maintenance by performing routine checks and lubrication.
• Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.
