Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Manager to lead continuous manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts. The role requires coaching, cost control, and standardization while fostering accountability and employee engagement.

You will drive improvements using BOE, Gemba, and 5S, aligning with global standards and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time on-site position at our UK plant, with a focus on sustainable operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English is required.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance across all shifts.
• Drive standardization across shifts to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Lead, coach, and mentor shift managers to ensure process compliance.
• Monitor plant performance using management indicators and propose corrective plans.
• Participate in plant management initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Promote autonomous maintenance and preventive practices to maximize asset utilization.
• Analyze production processes for cost and resource optimization.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain positive working relationships with employees, unions, and peers.
