Job summary

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, learn process equipment, and contribute to meeting budget targets while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a workshop environment.
  • Experience with preventative and planned maintenance on workshop/production equipment.
  • Experience with compressors, boilers, water tanks, rollers, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, pinchains, shafts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain plant services in safe working condition (compressors, boilers, water towers).
  • Refurbish, prepare and repair plant spares and equipment (rollers, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, pinchains, shafts).
  • Assist with plant breakdowns and line conversions.
  • Perform engineering project work within the Plant.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Policy and EMS and maintain all registers and reports.
  • Support maintenance and conversion days, holiday shutdowns, etc.
  • Set up brand new production lines; work in both workshop and shop floor environments.
