Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support the Kettering Team in UK. The role involves contributing to safe operations, maintaining quality standards, and enabling production goals in a global packaging manufacturer.

Responsibilities include following directives, owning the production line, inspecting products, maintaining a safe workspace, and participating in lean improvements. Rotating 8.5‑hour shifts cover mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Manufacturing background is not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complies with and follows plant and corporate directives for safe performance of the work assignment.
• Take ownership of the production line and drive world-class manufacturing results.
• Conducts inspection of in-process or finished product to ensure quality targets are met.
• Takes care of the work area and equipment to create a safe and efficient environment.
• Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.
• Perform on-the-job training for other personnel.
• 8.5-hour shifts, rotating earlies, lates, and nights.
