Job summary

The role involves 12-hour shifts, days, nights and weekends, with responsibilities including safety checks, breakdown response, fault finding, and supporting the team to maximise output while ensuring quality checks are completed.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required.
• Time served in production/manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Able to understand and interpret data.
• Lean manufacturing experience desirable.
• Good English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety checks and safe working practices.
• Completion of daily and monthly PMs.
• React to breakdowns and fault finding.
• Problem solving and identifying faults.
• Work within a team, building and sharing knowledge, lead and help mechanics when needed.
• Prioritise work to maximise output.
• Ensure all Quality checks and startup sheets are complete.
