Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead technical services across a diverse facilities portfolio in London, managing static and mobile engineering teams. The role focuses on delivering high standards of service, compliance, and asset management while aligning portfolios with client demands.

The role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent, IOSH Managing Safely, and strong leadership. You will oversee maintenance, budgets, and performance metrics, with monthly reviews and out-of-hours

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/ equivalent in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely required; NEBOSH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent technical service across all sites, ensuring contractual and client compliance.
• Allocate, schedule, and manage static and mobile engineering teams and resources.
• Oversee maintenance, asset management, and service delivery; manage budgets and costs.
• Monitor portfolio performance, WIP and debt management; support project works.
• Ensure QA/HSSE compliance and provide out-of-hours support as required.
• Maintain documentation using CAFM and mobile systems; report regularly.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with clients, subcontractors, and teams.
• Provide monthly performance input with data analysis for decision-making.
