Job summary

The British Horse Society is seeking a Technical Operations Lead working 35 hours per week, primarily at the head office near Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, with some remote flexibility. The role will manage 2nd line IT, drive operational projects, and coordinate major incidents while improving ITIL-aligned processes.

You will lead technical delivery, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure robust infrastructure and cybersecurity across our environments.

Qualifications

• 2nd line engineer with strong technical skills in infrastructure and cyber security.
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments.
• Takes ownership and drives projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 2nd line support across BHS environments.
• Act as technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead technical delivery for operational projects and service improvements.
• Coordinate significant IT incidents and drive resolution.
• Improve support processes and ITIL-aligned operations.
• Manage relationships with technology suppliers and partners.
