Job summary

Oxford PV is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the delivery, stability and continuous improvement of IT services across the UK site. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with day-to-day management across office and R&D environments.

You will manage Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, drive IT security and ISO27001 compliance, and liaise with the global IT team on wider initiatives while supporting a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Proficient Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
• Endpoint management using Microsoft Intune.
• Experience leading an IT support team and delivering customer-focused service.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 or similar security frameworks.
• Fluent in German, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and resolve technical issues.
• Provide high-quality, user-centric customer service.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain and develop IT infrastructure including servers, networks, security, and cloud.
• Lead the UK IT Support team and coordinate with global IT.
• Support IT security and ISO27001 compliance.
• Deliver site IT projects and manage IT suppliers.
• Ensure AV equipment is maintained and issues addressed.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and collaborate with external partners.
