Job summary

Octagon Group is recruiting a Regional Field Technical Manager for North England and Scotland to support high-quality commercial kitchen equipment used by professional kitchens, helping them deliver great food efficiently and reliably.

In this role you’ll manage service partners across Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, and two days in Scotland, deliver training and run annual service assessments, and review KPIs with customers to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a Senior Service Engineer, Service Supervisor or Service Manager.
• Gas Safe COMCAT 5 qualification is highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic equipment.

What We’re Looking For in a Regional Field Technical Manager

• 3+ years' experience as a Senior Service Engineer, Service Supervisor or Service Manager.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills and understanding of gas systems.
• Hands-on service and repair experience within catering equipment, HVAC, automotive, heavy equipment or similar.
• Gas Safe COMCAT 5 qualification is highly desirable.
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic equipment.
• Technical qualification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
