Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is sourcing a Regional Supervisor HVAC — North for a well established client with activity across commercial, industrial and public sectors. You will lead regional HVAC activities, support field engineers, manage client relationships and ensure on-site safety, quality and delivery targets.

The role involves coordinating engineering teams, reviewing quotes, and liaising with management to identify improvements and opportunities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ in HVAC/Electrical or time-served experience.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to pass DBS check.
• Demonstrable knowledge/experience of HVAC systems.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Microsoft Office/computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
• Review and quote for work.
• Client management.
• Act as the link between administration, management and the engineering team.
• Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in health and safety, engineering standards and customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Deliver contracted performance targets.
• Act as SME for the region's technical competencies.
• Liaise with clients to establish requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain high customer-service standards.

Main responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
• Review and quote for work
• Client Management
• Act as the link between administration, management and the engineering team.
• Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in H&S, engineering standards and customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Deliver contracted performance targets.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the region's technical competencies.
• Liaise directly with clients to establish requirements and identify improvement/project opportunities.
• Maintain high customer-service standards.
• Ensure engineers maintain their technical competence and undertake ongoing development.

Qualifications / experience:

• City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ in a relevant HVAC/Electrical discipline, or time-served with suitable experience.
• Relevant H&S qualification.
• Experience working in the industrial and commercial sectors.
• Demonstrable knowledge/experience of HVAC systems.
• Ability to understand schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Microsoft Office/computer literacy.
