Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Technical Lead to join its Health Services Technology team. This permanent role offers up to 3 days of WFH with offices in Manchester, London or Staines; salary from £70k DOE, plus location allowance and a 10% bonus. 37.5 hours per week.

You will provide technical leadership across clinical and operational systems, build and lead a team of engineers, and translate healthcare needs into safe, reliable solutions while collaborating with Product Owners and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery in healthcare environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across technical and clinical teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear technical leadership across clinical and operational systems.
• Build and lead a team of engineers and technical specialists.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into actionable delivery plans.
• Enable evidence-based decisions by articulating safety and governance impacts.
• Improve continuity of care by aligning with clinicians and product owners.
• Own end-to-end interoperability delivery including HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM, SNOMED CT.
