Job summary
Bupa is seeking a Technical Lead to drive technical leadership across clinical and operational systems in Manchester, London or Staines. You will lead a team, translate healthcare needs into deliverables, and ensure safe, reliable interoperability using HL7, FHIR, DICOM and SNOMED standards.
With 3 days WFH, you’ll shape delivery within a Health Services Technology product team, partnering with clinicians, managers and tech colleagues to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with clinical stakeholders and governance.
- Healthcare interoperability and integration engineering, HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM mappings.
- Product and Agile operating methods in healthcare environments.
- Proven leadership in mixed, regulated teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear technical leadership across clinical and operational systems.
- Build and lead a team of engineers and technical specialists.
- Translate clinical and operational needs into actionable delivery plans.
- Drive interoperability through design, mapping, testing, deployment and monitoring.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of clinically critical platforms ensuring safe, reliable operation.
- Own architectural and design decisions aligned to organisational standards.
