Job summary
Bupa is seeking a Technical Lead in the Health Services Technology team. The role offers hybrid working options with up to 3 days WFH, and locations in Manchester, London or Staines. Salary starts at £70k DOE plus location-based bonus of 10% and a comprehensive benefits package.
You'll lead technical delivery for clinically critical platforms, translating healthcare needs into safe, reliable solutions. Collaborate with Product, clinicians and tech peers to improve outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead technical teams in healthcare/clinical environments.
- Experience with interoperability standards HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM, ICD-9/10, SNOMED CT.
- Experience with product and Agile delivery in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear technical leadership across clinical and operational systems
- Build and lead a team of engineers and technical specialists
- Translate clinical and operational needs into actionable delivery plans
- Enable evidence-based decisions by articulating patient safety, clinical risk, information governance, security and operational impacts
- Lead delivery and optimisation of clinically critical platforms and workflows (e.g., PAS, EMR, PACS)
- Own end-to-end interoperability and integration delivery across projects
